Financial Support

We raise our own support in the missionary tradition, where our funding depends on the gifts of God’s people. We are supported by individuals and churches. We are grateful for the many persons who have so faithfully given in support of Christ’s Children and invite you to join them as God leads. Christ Children’s Ministries is a 501© 3 non-profit organization registered with the State of Minnesota. All gifts are tax deductible. Contributions can be sent to our mailing address or you may donate here.

Prayers

Our life and work here in the city has been undergirded for many years by the faithful prayers of God’s people. We are thankful for all those who support us and invite you to join us in prayers that the will of God would be done in our lives and in the lives of those we serve.

Resources

As many of the children we serve have transience and impermanence as a regular part of their lives, we tend toward local, long-term volunteers. However, one way in which involvement is always constructive to them is in providing experiences and knowledge hard to find within the urban communities of Minnesota. Our kids live in neighborhoods often characterized by lack, so we are always thankful for those who will share what they have and know with us.

For example, a group of guys from a suburban church once set up a fishing outing on the St. Croix River and hosted a small group of us for an afternoon of fishing. (Most of the kids we took had never fished before!) We love to help our kids see and experience the world in ways they haven’t before. Another family has occasionally shared their hospitality and pool with us during summers for church outings and camp group retreats.
